We are excited to share the latest enhancements deployed to Invent Medical! This update introduces patient billing warnings and internal notes, interactive Before & After document comparison, integrated Laboratory & Imaging order tracking, dedicated provider collections reporting, and extensive performance and scheduling optimizations.

👤 Patient File & Communication​

  • Billing Warnings & Profile Notes:
    • Patients can now carry a billing warning configured from their patient profile, displaying in red across billing screens and the patient information panel. For migrated accounts, this serves as the financial note.
    • The patient profile now features an Internal Note displayed directly in the appointment popover as the main note on the patient's file.
    • Communication log messages are fully accessible to non-super admin users within the encounters timeline.

📸 Patient Documents​

  • Before & After Visual Comparison:
    • Introduced a side-by-side, stacked, or interactive slider tool to compare two patient images.
    • Saved image comparisons can be stored directly in chosen patient document folders and reopened at any time.
    • Optimized document folder pagination to ensure all folder directories load seamlessly.

🧪 Laboratory & Imaging​

  • Module Renaming & Refinements:
    • Updated module titles and terminology across the platform: Laboratory & Imaging (Lab Orders is now Orders, Lab Results is now Results, Lab Order Templates is now Order Templates, and Images & Documents is now Documents).
  • Appointment Integration & Tracking:
    • Orders can be linked directly to appointments, featured on the appointment form's Lab & Imaging Order card and popover view.
    • Added full timeline tracking (Order Date, Sent Date, Due Date, Received Date, and Completed Date) to monitor lab work progress seamlessly.

💳 Billing & Payments​

  • Payment Terminal (POS) & Financial Controls:
    • Integrated card payment dispatch directly to payment terminals (POS) from payment forms and invoice registration workflows, with support for voiding captured terminal payments.
    • Invoice payment summaries explicitly separate patient and insurance responsibility portions.
    • Payment plans accurately count allocated payment portions, and multi-branch transfers seamlessly utilize parent company journals.
    • Enhanced dashboard and ledger performance across large financial datasets.
    • Invoice lines generated from packages clearly list the billing provider, and VAT rates are explicitly displayed on detailed receipt items.

📄 Treatment Plans & Teeth Chart​

  • Estimates & Visual Enhancements:
    • Treatment plan tables now include dedicated pricing and insurance estimate columns.
    • Optimized treatment plan print layouts for non-dental accounts.
    • Improved teeth chart rendering so implants, crowns, and pulp visual effects stack and display accurately on missing or treated teeth.

📅 Schedule & Workflow Tools​

  • Schedule Performance & Reminders:
    • Accelerated schedule loading speed by approximately 2x on high-density calendar days and weeks.
    • Automated SMS reminders accurately adhere to configured clinic weekend schedules.
    • Improved responsiveness when managing appointment views containing large room counts.

📊 Reports & Analytics​

  • Provider Collections & Operational Insights:
    • Introduced the Provider Collections Report to streamline commission calculations, displaying collected amounts, billing providers, payment methods, procedure breakdowns, remaining balances, and claim statuses.
    • Added a treatment status column to the Daily Procedures report and enabled patient search and filtering by MRN.
    • Automatically excluded archived procedures from production reports and updated payment reports to reflect refunds as negative values.

🛠️ Platform Polish & Enhancements​

  • Updated clinical history lists to display entries strictly for the selected patient.
  • Restored support ticket submission for users associated with multiple companies.
  • Optimized query loading speeds for roles lists, invoice tables, and audit log filters.
